Our story

From Pacific Heights to your block.

For more than 25 years, Gumaro Yescas worked as a contractor on remodels and new builds in Pacific Heights — the neighborhood widely considered the crown jewel of San Francisco real estate. Those homes don't tolerate shortcuts. Every joint, every finish, every line has to be right, and the client has to be kept in the loop the whole way.

In 2026 he founded AC&F General Construction in Oakland on a simple idea: that level of care shouldn't be reserved for the most expensive addresses in the city. Whether it's a fence, a foundation, or a full remodel, the job gets the same attention it would get on Broadway Street.

"Same standard, every job. That's the whole promise."— Gumaro Yescas, Owner

The AC&F standard

Attention to detail

Plumb, level, square, and flush. The things you don't notice when they're right, and can't stop noticing when they're wrong.

02

A higher building standard

Materials, methods and finish carried over from ultra-luxury projects, applied to every job regardless of size.

03

Straight communication

Clear pricing up front, honest timelines, and one person — Gumaro — who answers the phone and knows your project.
